On completion of this training program, the participant will display the ability

2. Recognize common fall hazards on oil and gas sites and identify OSHA’s required safe work practices and associated safety equipment.
3. importance and practice of consistent fall protection
4. fall hazards & it’s prevention  
5. How to identify fall protection methods and various safe work practices. 

This course provides information to aid the employer in meeting the training requirements of OSHA 29 CFR 1926.502.

In addition to this course, the employee may be interested in the Slips, Trips, and Falls program, the Scaffold Safety program, and the Severe Weather and Outdoor activities program.

Content of the course

1. Identify passive fall protection methods
2. Recognize fall hazards on stairways
3. Recognize ladder hazards
4. Identify fall arrest systems and their components
5. Identify special situations.
