Upon completion of this training program, the participants will be able to identify  

1. definition of confined space
2. type of confined space
3. major hazards associated with working in and around confined spaces, and
4. recognize methods to minimize or eliminate those hazards.
5. various control measures while working in confined space
6. PTW requirements
7. ongoing testing and vigilance while working in confined space
8. varies instruments used to monitor the toxic, LEL, o2 & other substance presence

This course is provided to assist the employer in meeting the requirements of OSHA Standard 29 CFR 1910.146. 

Workplace specific information and hands on training requirements for OSHA 29 CFR 1910.146 will be needed in addition to this course. 

You may also need to attend courses covering Hot Work and Respiratory Protection to meet other OSHA training requirements.

11. Varies instruments used to monitor the toxic, LEL, o2 & other substance presence
