Upon completion of this training program, the partner will demonstrate knowledge of first aid procedures and how to apply them to real-world scenarios. Employees will learn their legal responsibilities as a first aid provider, how to identify different types of medical emergencies and the proper steps to take, and how to react in specific environmental conditions like extreme heat and cold.

1. Introduction and objectives
2. Identify and describe OSHA’s requirements for medical care
3. Define first aid and discuss personal responsibility and company policy
4. Identify and describe types of medical emergencies and appropriate response actions
5. Recognize and describe types of injury emergencies and appropriate response actions
6. Recognize and describe types of environmental emergencies and their appropriate response actions
7. Recognize and describe types of temperature-related emergencies and their appropriate response actions
8. Recognize and describe poisoning emergencies and their appropriate response actions
